Hey guys,
I wrote this poem while I was living with some family and felt like their way was infringing on mine a little too much. This poem isn’t as erotic as it sounds- unless it’s a Freudian slip (yikes). That said I have a very supportive family, so I can’t complain, and they know writer’s finna write.
Till next time,
Justin
For Family and God’s Sake!
by Justin Gil
he holds me down by the neck like he knows what he's doing, 'all in the name of love.' he says. my airways tighten as he continues clamping down, watching my consciousness slip. I try to tell him but his hold is fixed, memories fade, he panics, unsure of what to do. the life leaves my body as he tries to figure out what went wrong.
